Know your worth.

I want to let you know that you are so loved and valued.

The world may not see it.
You may not see it.
But God does.

You are entirely enough just as you are.

You may have done some bad stuff in your life, maybe you've just always felt isolated and lonely, or maybe you have actively come against God before, but I'm here to let you know that He still loves you, and is still calling you into a relationship with Him.

Jesus took the time to sit with the outcasts and love the rejected of society, and Jesus hasn't changed his mind.

God created you with a plan and a purpose. Even before the foundations of the world were laid, He knew you.

I know that finding God comes with a million questions, but for now all you need to know is this one thing.

This is ‘the Gospel message’ which is translated as ‘Good News’.

God created us because He loves us.

Sin is anything that we do, that is against God’s will. We have all sinned, no one is better than anyone else.

Sin separates us from God.

God, knowing that we were unable to live a sinless life, sent His only son Jesus to take our punishment on the cross as payment for our sin.

3 days later, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin and death.

The payment is made. Anyone who comes to Him and receives what He did on the cross is forgiven, a part of God’s family and receives eternal life with Him.

Another way to understand it is this…

You are standing in a courtroom before God, the ultimate and just Judge. The charges brought against you are your sins (e.g., lying, stealing, lust, hatred, or selfishness). A perfectly holy God cannot simply ignore the law, because justice requires that every crime has a consequence.

The Judge looks at the evidence, and the verdict is clear: you are guilty. The penalty for sin is severe. Eternal separation from God. You have no way to pay the fine, and you cannot undo the crimes you have committed.

The Judge steps down from His bench, removes His robes, and takes your place. In the ultimate act of love, Jesus Christ (God's Son) came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to pay your legal penalty in His own blood. He took the punishment that you and I both deserved.

Because the penalty has been paid in full, the Judge can legally and righteously dismiss your case. When you accept what Jesus did for you, God cancels your record of charges. You leave the courtroom not just forgiven, but completely free.

If you want to receive Jesus, this is a prayer you can read in your own time. If possible, speak it out, even if quietly, as Romans 10: 9-11 says:

“if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

A Simple Prayer of Faith

Dear God,

I know that I have sinned and gone my own way. I'm sorry for the wrong things I've done.
Thank You for loving me so much that You sent Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and to rise again so that I can have new life.
Today, I choose to trust in Jesus and accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive my sins, make me clean, and help me follow You every day.
Thank You for making me part of Your family and for giving me the hope of eternal life.

In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.

Lastly, I want to encourage you that if you did this prayer, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ( 1 John 1:9 )

He is ready and waiting to start this journey with you. Prayer is really just conversation. Speak to Him, He hears you. Listen to Him, He will guide you.

If possible, find yourself a bible believing church and get yourself a bible. If you are unable to afford one, any good church should be able to provide you with one for free.
If this is something that you are struggling to find, please get in touch and we will do what we can to help you.

You are precious to God, and the whole of heaven rejoices over you.

Much love & blessings,

Kristy.
